Policies
Missed work due to absence: ask me for the assignment! School policy for excused absences says you get a day + one for every day you missed, up to 10 days. So if you were gone 2 days, you have 3 days to make up your work. WRITE A NOTE ON THE TOP OF YOUR PAPER TELLING ME "ABSENT WHEN ASSIGNED" OR "ABSENT WHEN DUE" SO THAT I DON'T ACCIDENTALLY MARK YOUR WORK AS LATE.
Late work: You may turn in late work for partial credit within the quarter. The later it is, the less credit you get, but you probably need the practice and any credit is better than no credit as far as your grade is concerned!
Redo-assignments: I don't generally allow assignments to be redone unless it is very clear to me that you were completely confused and would benefit from doing the assignment over.
Redo-tests: if you get a D or an F on a test, I strongly encourage you to study more and request a redo. This will have to be done before school, during study hall, or during lunch. Only rarely is there time in class for you to redo a test.
